Kristina Moriconi is a poet, essayist, and artist who divides her time between suburban Philadelphia and New York City.

Her BFA in graphic design led to a career in publishing where she spent years consumed by fonts, printing presses, and Pantone colors. Art now remains an essential part of her life, often providing inspiration for the writing that has become her foremost passion.

In 2011, she received her MFA in creative writing from Pacific Lutheran University’s Rainier Writing Workshop in Tacoma, Washington.

Her poems and essays have appeared in a variety of journals online and in print. Her first chapbook, No Such Place, will be published by Finishing Line Press in Fall, 2013.
